Default Note on leather engraving and new pod color

Hey all,

we had a discussion earlier about the possibility of dying the engraved parts of the designs on leather.
I made some tests and the results will satisfy those who wanted black on black.

It's easy to do and available to anyone who requests it.

Now I know that some of you might be getting tired of these pictures, but this is the pod I made for Rob, the first one in the color cork, and I thought it was worth a few pictures

Thanks

Paul

I think you are getting better and better though I could not have imagined it.

I love the cork interior color. It's a nice, warm tone.

Great job, Paul!!!

Nice work Paul. The Porsche badge looks great engraved. I noticed you also had your email address at the bottom. Does that mean one could have his/her name or car’s name at engraved as well? This would be a nice enhancement for the cassette holder you recently did.

Hey Moon: I can engrave anything you want. If it looks good in grayscale printed from your computer, I can engrave it.

And thanks guys & gal, for your kind comments.

Hey John: I still have one of my first pods. It's not Porsche leather, but I think it would be very close to your Weissach interior. I would be very happy to give you a great deal on it. (and yes, I will open the key hole for you )
