Do you get your leather from GAH?

Paul,

You are killing me here..! I have told everyone I know that I don't want a leather dash, pod or console since its just one more thing to dry out & warp and give me grief.... and them you go post all this stuff... really!

Now I want the whole thing... in contrasting colors arrgh!

So -
If I were to want a slightly redesigned console and could send you the whole thing fully finished ready for covering could you do it...?

It would only differ in small details - a little wider in the area above the shifter (Rear AC up through the bottom of the Air Vents, all implemented on the passenger side - drivers side to stay stock - only about 1" wider total. Also the lip on the side edges of the console on both sides would be a bit different (narrower & shallower profile). Basically I want a bit wider panel & almost flush to the surface - A bit like what you did with yours Paul for the Nav unit...?

How feasible is this - do I need a visit to the gulf coast of Texas? send cases of Dom Perignon - what does it take...

I would mock this up on a secondary console and have you do that and probably a dash/pod/cass box all together...

I'm not looking to do it immediately - just want to understand feasibility of the idea (a 2010 appropriate redesigned console...). And as always I'm keeping the stock version exactly as is...

Hey Alan,

of course you understand that this whole thing as been implemented with the express intent to corrupt you and get you to the dark side

Your project is very feasible indeed. I like and welcome "custom", I think people might start to suspect that about me

Drop me an email at champagn@stx.rr.com and we'll go over the details.

Glad to have you back on the leather side

Paul

GAHH makes good leather.....I used "925 champagne II" when my seats were repaired...it was the closest to my factory color!! I ended up buying a whole hide to fix just two panels!!
