Rear wiper won't shut off!
The rear wiper on my '82 just started wiping all by itself (no, I didn't push the switch accidentally) yesterday and wouldn't shut off until I turned off the ignition. I finally had to remove the fuse (#9), but that also disables my back-up lights and mirror adjustors (and maybe my a/c?). Any thoughts and/or suggestions?

I pulled the relay in the back(I don't think it has any other functions...?) put the fuse back in and everything but the rear wiper now works. Would the relay itself have caused the wiper to run constantly? Or is it possiby the switch on the console? Both? Neither? Any guesses? It would be redundant of me to say this is not my area of expertise

Go to the plug for the rear wiper relay, and check for 12 vdc on the green/black wire. If there is power on this wire, the problem is the switch. If there is no power here, the problem is probably in the relay.
If the problem appears to be in the relay, you can open it and clean the contacts. If it is an electronic failure, you can explore the internals looking for things like shorted diodes, or you can replace it.
Relay - Rear Wiper 80-95 P/N 928.618.104.00 $35.90
Of course, that might not help you much, since shipping to Russia, customs, etc., make it really expensive...

Easiest test (esp if you have no test gear handy) is just to put a regular SPST relay in the rear wiper spot (say your horn relay). If it works correctly (except no sustained on delay) then you need a new relay... you may be happy with a regular relay for a few $ (widely available) or order the replacement. If the new relay runs all the time too then its the switch / wiring or the motor parking mechanism. Check the relay coils input as Wally noted to determine if its the switch/wiring else it must be the motor's parking mechanism...
