Unhappy Dash Warning lights

I've got an 82 Euro, and only the brake warning light, stop warning light and the red light at the bottom of the voltage gauge light up on start up. I've now found out that a whole lot more should be lighting up with the key is first switched on.

While this could be old bulbs, it seems strange that so many are not working - is there some other switch/relay/contoller that could be at fault here?

I haven't yet taken the dash pod off.....which I will have to do, but wanted to get the right parts first

Check under footrest in left side. You'll find to connectors going in to a "black box". All wires should be there, both in and out. On mine, one it's taken out ( I was tired of "bremkreiz" stayed on ).
