Default anyone have a kempf tool?

I'm right in the middle of a TB job. I got my parts today and guess what , no tensioner tool. I called them and other places and everyone is sold out, they don't have any idea when they will get them in. Does anyone have a kempf tool that i can buy or rent? i would really appreciate it!
thanks ,
Jason

Jason--

There are more than a few around. Where are you located? You may be able to borrow the use of one to finish your project.

Well there you go.

If I was you I would just purchase a new one for yourself, you will have to re-tension the belt after 1500 miles anyway, and its only like $50.

I am in Chicago now and my tool is in Chilton, Wisconsin. I could get it this weekend and drop it off on Sunday on my way back to Chicago. Let me know maybe I can even help you get it adjusted while I am there.

Hey WICruiser,
I'm about 30 minutes west of I-94 in waterford, probably too far out of your way, i'm guessing you take 94 back to Chicago. I could meet you at Hwy 20 and 94 in Racine. I'm not qiute ready to tension the belt yet, i still have to get the harmonic balancer off and i'm waiting for my cam gears to be shipped. Do you go back and forth alot? Let me know how you want to work this.
Thank-you
Jason

I take 94 every week but my "normal" is to come back to Chicago very early Monday (pass though that area about 5:00 a.m.). If you are not in a big hurry I could pick it up this weekend and drop it off next week on Friday afternoon. Hwy 20 and 94 would be very convenient but it is hard for me to predict timing because it depends on when I actually get out of town and how traffic is. I will send you a PM with my email address.

Next week Friday afternoon would be perfect.I get out of work at 2:30 and could make it to 94 by 3:00. Do you have a cell phone so maybe you could call mine and let me know when you are about 1/2 hour away?

trip75 and WICruiser,

If you're interested, we will be working on a couple of 928 racecars on Saturday in Waukesha if you're in the area. Also, a couple of murf928 cars are supposed to show up too after they dyno in Appleton, so it should be fun.
