"LIKE NEW" 87 S4 going up for sale

I've never been able to understand how someone could own a nice car like this and hardly ever drive it. On a net present value basis it looks like each mile cost him about $32.00 not considering maintenance.

So now it is a TMU (true milage unknown) car know to have AT LEAST 67,000 miles. So was the odometer broken for a week ,month ,year ; although it really makes little difference 70,000 mi or 100,000 or 50,000 miles the condition of the car makes the real difference.

So its a well maintained 67K mile 87.....depending on colors...options.....I think 15-20 tops.... KBB says its worth between 10-15 & the most recent excellence 928 price guide rates an excellent 87 at 16,363....

[edit] don't bother with the values from online car valuation sites or in Excellence as they are pretty far out of touch when it comes to a car like this one appears to be....

You guys are making me feel great about my 87 with 62k on it. Everything works, the only thing that I can find wrong is that the air temp sensor has a chip on the edge.
Keep talking, I may even show this thread to my wife.

I'm sure there are lots of better ones, but it is more than I had ever hoped for.
Now I have to get the 82 in "similar" condition. It's my 5 speed option. Getting it there will take some time, I'm afraid, but I'm working on it. The suspension is now in good shape, it has a new SS exhaust system, and I'm in the process of redoing the leather interior.
Torgue tube, syncros, rear wheel bearings, cv renewal, new clutch and Moss Green Metallic paint this winter. I have a big pile of parts that I'm collecting.
