Thanks guys!!!!
I just wanted to post and say thanks to Ernie, Roger, Jim and even Justin for spending their Sunday helping run down some problems on the black car. Now while I wasn't thrilled to get the final diagnosis, it did mean a lot that they would help a fellow 928'er who needed another set of eyes on the problem. It looks as if new head gaskets are in store for the black car due to an oil leak around the head bolt. Just another small setback in the life of this particular 928.
Thanks again guys!!!

John,
I know that Justin is just a low life lilly-livered varmit and basically just a waste of valuable oxygen, but try to remember that this low life lilly-livered varmit will be working in the parts department of a Porsche dealership in another week. Don'tcha think we ought to at least PRETEND we like him?

John,
It may be worth posting the symptoms here just in case others have a different view to our findings.
Whereas I am never wrong Jim & Ernie are suspect.
Justin?????? Justin who???

Good idea Roger.
Basically, I was getting oil across the right side top of my engine. I replaced the gasket on the bottom of the oil separator, but that really didn't do anything for the leak. The oil would pool up on thop of the engine and upon cornering would drip onto the header creating my own personal mosquito repellant fog. We would get no oil at idle but after spirited driving oil would be covering the right side head and top of the engine. (Thanks alot Ernie!). Jim cleaned off the excess oil and we determined that it seem to be coming from the second to the front head bolt on the right side where it was bubbling. That's about it. Anybody have any other ideas than head gasket?
