Default dp 928 project

About 6 months ago the blue 88 dp was listed on e bay and received a lot of discussion on this forum. Mostly negative. After much negotiation, my 68 yr old father purchased the car and had it shipped up to Wisconsin to 928 eurogroup where it received an updating and moderization. The car recieved a Tim murf intercooled blower setup thats running about 9.5 lbs of boost.Along with a catless x pipe,a set of 996 turbo hollowspokes, a 930 s steering wheel, new 996 sportseats, a set of koni shocks and a deleation of the miami vise teal and pink interior. From what I understand, the car is just beautiful and is a lot more understated than before and an absolute bullet. I think that is should dyno between 470 and 500 at the tires. The car is being driven back to its new home in Heber springs Ark as I write this so I dont have pics yet. I will update when it gets there. :

Default 928 DP Supercharged

Tom, I hope your Dad made in home OK, when he left it was raining pretty hard, and driving a Supercharged 928 in the rain is no fun, and he had rain on Sunday also............but the car still looked and sounded good under the Wisconsin rain.
PS. I am installing a Murph SC on the GT2s race car next week.........

Sounds like a trip to Heber (in the 928, of course) might be in order...

No. I believe they were blue with pink panels and a pink DP logo. That car was only 45 min. away from me. It wen't for 10k. I shoulda bought it. The widebody S4 would have been worth that easily. I'm sure some femme somewhere would like those seats in her boxter. The wheels, now thats another story altogether.

FWIW, my buddy's true DP 928S is still for sale. Pretty sure he'll take mid 20's for it since his last guy canceled out on him. It truely is a rare & clean car: 51k.
