Doing this with a pressure bleeder can be preformed freehand. If done with an assistant pumping the brakes, the pads must be blocked open ( eg - on the rotor).
This will work to chase the air from the inner half via the connecting pipe .... which you have temporarily placed on top ......
This is what I did after I snapped one of the inner bleeding nipples. They are well and trully "welded" in. I was very surprised - the brakes had no air in them... Go figure... Another of the great Porsche mysteries... Thanks for the advise!

Sometimes I wonder what I would do without Rennlist...

I have a seized nipple myself I was discussing this when fitting my braided hoses with Chris Best from two plus two Porsche and apparently the method you used works well you'll be pleased to know! Enjoy! (I do agree with one of the previous comments though that your brakes / fluid must have been pretty poor if you've noticed such a big difference - I have Goodridge hoses fitted to both my 928 and GSXR, both with regular fluid changes and have to say the biggest difference I found was peace of mind knowing I was no longer running 18 year old rubber brake lines!)

How could my brakes be so poor in their previous incarnation if I was on average as fast as the factory cars around the Nurburgring. True, tyres have a lot to answer in terms of 16 years of development, but surely repeated stops from 120mph to 70mph should have shown something.... Anyways, the problem has been sorted for which I thank everyone!!!
