WHEEL/TIRE FITMENT?
OEM 16” Cup 2 wheels, from 1992 968. front are 7”, 52mm offset with 225/50 tires - rear are 8” with 55mm offset with 245/45 tires.
Will I have problems with offset size and tire combo, on a '86?
TIA

Will Cup 1 and Cup 2 wheels 17" fit with 225/45 fronts and 255/40 rears?
Sorry but I'm confused, so many ads with different Porsche model wheels, guess the offset is key?
min/max? front and back offsets in 17inch wheel?

Yes, that is exactly what's going on my 928 and is on many other 928s. You should even be able to go to 245 on the front and 275 on the rear, but I haven't seen anybody say they tried that.
Nobody has figured out what the limits are. Well nobody that is willing to share. Just use the search and if you don't find it ask. You're bound to find somebody who has tried the setup your asking about (especially with factory wheels) or has something close and can do the math to figure out the likelyhood of fitting.
