Yep, I have the same dilema, plus they are at a 47 offset, so they sould stick out about 4 inches beyond the fender, course that would be balanced by the look in the rear with a 7.5 in wide tire on a rim with a 65 offset...... Which with my SC install would last about 100 miles.....before needing replacement....

So you are saying the rear wheels have a different offset than the fronts. I guess I wont be rotating them if that is the case. Glad I found out before I did the work!

Jim, on an 81 or 84, the stock wheels are all the same. The only problem you would have is if you have directional or assymetric tires. It's only 87+ cars or cars with non-original tires that have different offsets front and rear.
