Default HELP PLEASE! No electric power - car won't start!

Car is stranded! The battery is 2 weeks old and hasn't caused me any trouble. Just had the door open and interior lights were on for about an hour. Went to crank it, it tried for a second or two then acted as if the battery was dead. I mean totally dead! Now not even the interior lights go on!!! This is really strange! I have no idea whats up and someone is supposed to look at the car to buy it tomorrow! Is my car revolting? Doesn't want to be sold or what?? Anyone have any tips on what to check? I tried jump starting it but that did nothing. No interior lights....nothing. Something bad is going on....I just hope its not major!!!

There is no fuse which interupts everything so check the connections at the battery especially the smaller wire at the positive terminal and the negative ground strap.

Thanks for the quick responses. Looks like it was just a poor ground connection by the rear tool kit. Was on pretty tightly but wasn't a clean contact. WHEW!!!!!!!

Hi it sounds like you found the problem also to check if you ever have this after the car gets wet is the 14 pin connector under the hood on the passenger side, Stan
