Sleepy Welsh villages were woken abruptly yesterday by the appearance of UFO's over the hills. Our local reporter Scottie brings you the latest news on these inexplicable events.

More reports of yesterday's strange "928" sightings in the Llandridnod Wells area have been flooding into our offices today. The pair of unidentifiable objects were first seen by several local lads in the valleys around Llantrisant at about 11am yesterday and several of them said that they had seen a marking which looked like the numerals 928 o*n the futuristic looking shells.

Mrs Jones from the Llanbuilth village post office phoned our office in the afternoon to tell us that at midday Mr Evans, the baker, had been about to put a bun in the oven when he heard a sort of whooshing sound in the distance and then a strange metallic looking object appeared over the horizon and rushed towards him at a tremendous speed. From the nearby village of Aberchwyndrob, Mrs Careys, housewife, told us "I was just hanging out my washing, when I heard this deep growling sound and as it got louder I saw a silver flying machine skimming across the hillside closely tailed by a second blue-tinged shark-like shape hovering behind the first one; as they rushed across my view there was also a tremendous high-pitched whine over their deeper rumbling engine sound."

Earlier in the morning, the local constabulary had received an anonymous call describing two unidentified objects travelling at high speeds over the hills and valleys, and at o*ne point various flashing lights were seen in some sort of communication between the two craft. Dai Llewellyn, at Merilonydd town Police station, told us that they had sent an officer out to investigate, but that he had never returned. In his last call to the station that afternoon he said he was having trouble keeping up with these incredibly fast objects and gave his position some 50 miles away in the midst of the Brecon beacons: Nothing more has been heard from him since.

Closer to home, we received a report from Ms Cherrybuds of Orchard Cottages that at about lunchtime "my pussie appeared to be charged up with static and all the fur was stood o*n end", but she told us that there were unfortunately no witnesses to this event. You can rest assured that our intrepid reporter will be going round to investigate this in depth with Ms Cherrybuds later tonight.

Apparently animals and wildlife across our area were also thrown into a state of confusion by the mysterious 928 objects; it is reported that several cows remained stood up during the late afternoon showers and the sheep actually stopped running away when approached by locals carrying leeks.

Clearly the rapid appearance and equally rapid disappearance of these 928's has caused a buzz throughout the local community and everyone anxiously waits to see if a re-appearance of the "928 Phenomenon" is o*n the cards.

Thought it was that wildo Scot with two sHARKs, one was a leaker he posted flicks of extensive rot around the rear window quarters -forget where the leak started- and he backtracked by water stains/marks.
I think one of the sHARKs was called Char or Charbroiled.
