Waking up the DEAD can be a challenge but all it often takes is time and $$$$$ ,the more of one you use the less of the other you may need. While it may be romantic to think you can buy a $10,000 car for $4,000 and a bit of sweat equity quite often the project takes longer than you ever could imagine and ends up costing more than you could have ever anticipated but by the time that realization comes you are in so far that there is no turning back. For most it is best to buy the nicest running driving car you can find have a good prepurchase inspection and still hold back about 25 % of your toy budget to handle those repairs which nearly every 15-20-25 year old car is going to need. Human nature is such that MOST owners stop fixing the car near the end of their ownership and just let things pile up in this case left it for dead for 4-5 YEARS ! This puppy is probably going to need a lot of Love. Take some fresh gasoline because what was in the tank is no longer gasoline !
