Perhaps so. Shall we nominate this fellow for the Darwin Award?

Nobody noticed until after he was caught and people started looking through his old posts. He had disappeared before for about a year and hadn't delivered parts that people had paid for... because he was in jail. I think both times he was caught because of WRX parts.

I remember a case last year in Hollywood, two guys armed (!) tried to steal a car from the driveway off a 2 story house.
The owner heard the noises and when he looke trough the window and yelled, they answered firing ****s at him..(baad move, reminds me of that scene in 'the rock" where the marines got killed when they were trying to enter Alcatraz).
Well, the owner went and grabbed his winchester...bang bang! the thieves were history. Police considered he acted in self-defense and he got congratulated.
Guess he sleeps well now

Speaking of brilliant crminal minds, a realtor friend of mine was rolling the trash can to the curb one dark morning a couple of weeks ago and realized when he got back inside that he didn't have to go around his wife's new Chevy Tahoe in the driveway.

Called the cops, called onstar, onstar located the vehicle. Cops went straight to the car which was parked, containing 2 local black kids, smoking crack. They got the car back, full of fast food trash, drug paraphenalia, and used condoms.

They might as well have driven it off a cliff becuase his wife won't go near it now. Got to sell it, take the hit. Too bad for him they found it.
