Am I the oldest "newbie"??
So...am I, born 11/13/40, the oldest newbie?
How many years does a shark add to my life, anyway?!?! Should I buy more?

We ave a bunch of Michiganers on the list...and a BUNCH of them are headed to SITM in June (Sharks In The Mountains) this year. SITM is a yearly event of 3 days of sharks and debauchery in the NC mountains sponsored and hosted by the great folks at 928 Specialists (www.928gt.com). You REALLY should make plans to attend!
Hook up with Andrew Olson (PM him thru the list here). He is one of the very active sharksters in Mich. and is organizing the 'convoy' to SITM from your area. He is in Canton, MI.

Yep... BigMac and I go waayyy back... well at least last summer. 
We had our Fresh Water Frenzy (picnic) and I helped adjust Mac's hood. Haven't see him this year yet, but hope to soon! Nice picture by the way.

Just as a point of reference, I am just a couple of years younger then you, and I bought my '91 S-4 from a gentleman who was 71. He sold it because he wanted something more nimble. He bought a new Mini modded to the max

But...you are 28 yrs older than me!
Oh and BTW, after having 3 t-belt warnings in three days, and considering that the wife threatens my life each time I purchase "Maintainence" items (superchargers..shhh) i think 928s will affect my longevity negatively.
