H-P, those wheels look great. The tire fit looks a bit tight, but the lowering will do that. Really nice looking.

Bill and others, they are tight, but so far no rubbing in the front. My previous 8x17 et52 with 225/40-17 tires did rub on even the slightest turn.
These 235/40-18 tires on et57 wheels are working out great. These tires are 12" wide on the rim, if the fender lips are rolled I would be able to reinstall the factory "S" spacer on the back with these wheels. The Toyo track tires I plan on using are only 11" wide.

Thanks for all the comments.

EDIT - The 12" wide tires are on the rear, not the front 235/40 tires. Rear are 265/40.

WOW, that S4 is nice. The wheels are perfect for it! I dont know about you guys but they compliment the rubstrip in my eyes...must be the shape of the spokes or something. Looks really sharp

Default Mine Arrived Today - Installed - Love the Look

My 997 Carrera III wheels arrived today. They look great on the car and the fit is perfect, fill the wheel wells nicely. Big Reds look even better now!! 234/40-18 front and 265/40-18 rears, speedo is off about 6% though, have to be careful with that.

Here are before and after pics.

I will be selling my 17's shortly, will post here first.

Are those 17" wheels factory with 65mm offset? If so I am very interested for my other 928.

You mean he cruises shopping malls and crashes over speed bumps with it???

Nice wheels, by the way, I like them.

No, that is what the Yukon next to is is for.

He actually does quite a bit of off roading / pulling lesser SUV's out of whatever they are stuck in.

I really like the carrera III, the 02 lightweights & the turbo twists hollowspokes like yours....all seem to fit the 928 very well!! The 11" rear with 295's really looks mean too! I didn't think the 11" 45mm offset would fit....but it works on yours....so it would work on mine too!!! Off to ebay!

They made your paint shinier and killed your grass too.

Seriously, those look simply awesome. Where did you get them and do you mind sharing the price you paid? What tires did you choose and how did you make your decision.

He bought the same setup I did, assuming those are Continental Sport 2 tires. I paid $1,600 shipped with non-painted center caps off ebay.
