Dave,

Thats a good price. When you say complete can you be more specific. I'm also looking for a kit in the future, I particularly need the carpeting for everything in the cockpit and trunk except what is under the floor mats. Mine look great but are faded and thus can't be repaired.

I know there was a thread on here recently regarding installation but do you have any particular tips/tricks or products you prefer during installation. Thanks!

Maybe its just me but paying $600 for carpet for my car is a bit much! Can't we go to the carpet store and ask a sales associate about some for your car. They could probally hook us up pretty good.

Or maybe Im just an idiot.

Hi ,The Gahh kit has carpet that is pre cut and slightly cut big to trim off the excess, the carpet looks great when finished and there are about 25 pieces or so from door panels to the dead pedal to the covers on the sides for the E brake and amp, it is very helpful if the entire interior is removed to recover the various parts, we use the industrial brushable type adhesive, this is a time consuming process but if you do a few pieces a day it wont be too long also you get a chance to do a great detail job on the interior as evrything is out for inspection/cleaning, Stan

Hey Justin , I would find out what your buying , call Dave Lomas at Motorsport if you have any other questions, The Gahh kit has every piece of carpet in the car, and it is in the style of the factory weave/colors/knit, Stan

I got mine for OFI and it was slow, got multiple "this weeks" and the rear mat didn't fit right even after sending it back. Had to have that re-cut and bound locally. Avoid.

And I got the cheap carpet and three years later it looks, well, cheap.

All I need are the floor sections even though they are still OK. I tried 2 places a while back and both sent me crap, claiming it was sliverknit. And to top it off the pieces were cut wrong and had no real backing.

Does anyone offer the REAL 928 floor carpet with the THICK black dimpled fibrous backing material?

I have been thinking about looking into maybe mercedes carpet or even bentley or someone to get real good quality stuff and cut it to size.
