Hey Brian,
Bidding on something from autohauslosgatos is one thing actually winning it is another. I test drove this car last Sunday and it was nice, although not as nice as the photos showed. It ran strong I have been following this car for over a month as it changed hands from a privet seller to autohauslosgatos.
Long story so we talked price and I made them a cash offer, his counter offer was Not a Penny Below 10K. I thanked them for there time and said I would just bid on the no reserve auction. He then told me that if the car was not @ 10K they would pull it off eBay.
The winning bidder raultney also won this auction on 3/1

No feedback and guess what the car was relisted same vin

Hum look at he high bidder? onlineauctionassociates who also was bidding on the 928, was the bidder who pulled his bid. Bid HistoryBid History
I would say these folks are shill bidding on there items to set the price
The car is also on Craig's List @ $13,900 Click Here for the link
What can I say it was a used car lot, if they will play games like that on their auctions who knows what else they might be doing to there cars Oh and my offer on the car was higher than the what it look to have sold for.
Too bad it was a nice one…

I thought it was weird that it is listed for $14K but they let the auction go to only $7826....that makes more sense....I have a feeling a "no reserve" auction will pop up again! That is such BS...ebay should not allow it!

E-bay gets their fees no matter who "buys " it. And Yes shill bidding is alive and well. It also occurs at some very well publicized live auctions along with phantom bids by the auctioneer. Replays of the video tapes have made for some "adjustments" to final selling prices !

Craig would never do such a thing...
I guess anything that makes for good television. Just look at how much that auction has boomed since the television coverage and advertising revenues have increased.
