Darien gave me a ride in his supercharged beast and all I can say is WOW!!! No wonder everyone with a supercharger or turbo has a grin permanently plaster to their face. I can see how the power is addictive. Dariens a great guy and even offered to put my wife and I up for the night...that was before he met me...

Brendan, I'm visiting my wifes sister and brother in law who live off I-15 and Camino Del Norte. He has a very nice '98 993 cab. Found out 993s have their problems as well, check engine light at 72,000. It appears they suffer from an auxilary air injection system that gets fouled up and heads that are prone to needing to be rebuilt.

Ok, as long as it was done by a pro. The only reason I mentioned this cause there are alot of hacks out there and this exact topic came up a few months ago.

Do you have a side shot of the rim? It's hard to tell but do the spokes potrude past the lip of the rim or is that just an optical illusion?

I'll take a side shot and post it tomorrow. Yes the spokes protrude approx 2", it fills the wheel wells...

Ok, thanks. Since you are going to be looking at the rims, can you measure the thickness between the mounting surface and the bottom of the stud holes? Hacker-Poshorr just picked up a set of original, un-touched Porsche rims and the moutnign thickes was ~1/2".

Yes, the heads get coaked up with carbon. Very bad. Heads off, rebuild, all that stuff. Some pics were on the 993 board once.

Please pass the word to anyone that might be interested. I don't like relying on ebay, but that's next

I sent you a PM and have not gotten a response, ya nay or otherwise. I like the wheels, but have no use for the tires.

Default MORE PICS

One more attempt, I finally got the other pics small enough

I'm waiting on a package with the 2" Porsche emblem covers for the center caps.

I'd like to sell the tires with them, I don't want a tire shop to damage the wheels

Price is negotiable

Is it just the lighting that makes the metal look non-uniform or maybe something about it being online?

The pics were approx 1mb each before I reduced them, so that could be what you're seeing, or it's the lighting. The wheels look brand new with the powder coating.
