DON"T chrome it looks way to bling. You can polish the wheels then clear coat them so that they stay nice.

Thanks for the link, IcemanG17. Looking at the picture, I don't think I'm too crazy about the chrome look on a red 928. And unless you find someone who will do a good job chroming wheels, I would not consider it anyway. I guess I'll keep the wheels the way they are.

Thanks everyone for the compliments, my 928 is a nice car (especially for 20 y.o.) and gets a lot of looks. Just looking for something to make it more distinctive and aggressive looking. I want people, when they see my car, to remember it as a Porsche and say 'there was a 928 I saw not to long ago, and man, did it look awesome'. We, as owners of Porsche cars have to keep up the image and reputation of the marque as a builder of great performance cars. Especially the Porsche 928!

One other problem with chrome - if you use standard wheel weights ("clip-on"), they will fly off at normal highway speeds...
