Default Interest in 3rd Annual South Carolina Dyno Day???

Hey folks, it's that time of year again. I'm checking for interest in a 928 Dyno Day in beautiful, scenic downtown Greer, S.C., with a cookout to follow at the Lockhart casa. Looking at late April, to early May. What say you southern 928 folks????

My parents live in Greenville, I'm sure they could put me up for the weekend. I'm in.

I missed the last one you had, but I'd love to go. I only live less than an hour away. I was in Greer yesterday as a matter of fact. What's the minimum number of people we need, and what's the price? I'd love to check out the 'natural' horsepower, since the only thing I've done is put on the GTS insulated intake tubing and add a RMB.

By the way, the car ran very strong in Kershaw a few weeks ago. Now it's time for some new rubber, and I'm headed to Road Atlanta in June. Any takers?

Missed last year but made the year before. If its the right date, count me in as well. May bring a friend with a 968...another with a 914...and maybe another with a 944.

Hey guys, glad there is interest for another dyno day. I'll have to check, but the price should be the same, which is $30.00 for a standard 3-4 pull session. As most folks know, this is a serious deal, as most shops charge $75.00 and up. We'd really like to have at least 10 cars to dyno to make it worth the operators while. Jeff, bring on the other P-cars. Bring all your 928 and 9XX Porsche buddies. The more the merrier.

Is there any particular Saturday that is better for everyone's schedule?? First weekend in May??

Either this has to be an afternoon event or I can't make it until the end of May or early June. I am coaching kid's soccer and all of the games start late morning.

I would love to attend again!

I installed a crossover pipe that I'd like to dyno. My soccer team plays @ 11:30am, so I can't leave Charlotte until 12:30, + 1.5 hour drive puts me at 2:00 ETA in Greer. If you guys plan to start later, then I can do it. I know that the dyno operator is freely offering his time and would hate to make things inconvenient for him.

Any hope for me?

Thanks!

PS I know a guy that wants to provide beers for all attendees.

I couldn't make it last year, so I'd like to give it a shot this year. But I need at least 3 weeks notice so I can make sure my calender is open. Would really like to put some faces to the names.

Dang needragger, I didn't know there was another lister so close!!!! Whatcha doing this weekend? Wanna grab a beer and show off 928's???

James, I don't see any reason that we can't just get a later start, say 12:00 meet time?? That way we should still be at the dyno when you get here @ 2pm.

Is everyone cool with that???

Finally got a look at a calendar to check the dates. I'm looking at either May 13th or the 20th. Which is better for everyone?? Also, I can be reached via e-mail at: Lotta4240@aol.com, or on my cell at: 864-270-3083. TIA,

Chris

Super! May 20th works for me!

If anyone wants to make it a 2 day event, there is a Driver Ed event at Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw SC on Friday May 19th hosted by Turn One Motorsports. I have that event on my calendar and plan to be there.

I like the idea of Friday DE days because it doesn't interfere with weekend family time.

Thanks!
