Good tool at Harbor Freight

I remember when those things were $250.00. I've used them for various things but the most fun with one was at a reptile show we praticipated in many years back. My brother aimed the laser at a gentleman that looked like he had ridden harleys for decades. He saw the laser pointing at his chest and jumped sideways and crouched like he was about to be shot.
We laughed and he was not very happy with us. I'm thinking he suffered from his Vietnam days.

Mine saved me the cost of a catalytic converter. On another thread a while back someone posted about checking the in/out temps as a way to make sure it was working; with mine you could easily see the 50 degree (F) drop per section of the cat. Great tool.

For instance on my last trip in March I bought a 9pc Wobble Extension Set - $14 at HB, or equiv of $50 in the UK for a Sealey set. I simply can't aford to buy Sealey every time I need something that I may only use a couple of times.

I bought a lot from them while I lived in TX. Like Paul said, tools in Europe are a lot more expensive than in the states. I also have this thermometer, works fine.
I also have jackstands, engine hoist, 12 Ton press, slip plates, AC service tools, air compressor and a lot more stuff from them. I'm not a professional but the price is very good and is often cheaper than renting a tool. The quality is not like a wrench set from HAZET, but so far no problems whatsoever.

I've been buying tools from Harbor Freight for years. In the beginning they were pretty rough. I got things like hammers and pry bars where a lump of iron was all you really needed. As time went by the guality has much improved. Their racing jacks are first rate and recently I bought a tile cutting machine that worked flawlessly. Same for a brad nailer. Prices can't be beat.
