I am not looking to do anything really radical. I just want to do an interior in my own colors and trim accents,(Malibu310&Champagne) maybe flare the wheels,(luis), not sure yet because there is only one set I like (they extend into the door) and I am not sure who makes it. Bigger rims and tires of course,(928ntslow), and have a visibly nice engine compartment with those braided steel lines (Carl)
and some powder coating. Jacquemond has a really nice front lip spoiler but I dont know if they sell it seperately. I try to loook at other less expensive options but tI always come back to this because it is something I have wanted to do since I was a kid.

Thats not bad at all...looks like doing your car wouldnt be all that bad then..im just guessing here, but by my figures the S4 wont be in colector car status for atleast 10 more years, so making your car your dream makes sence... just keep all the old parts, and dont ruin the basic mounting points...and the big suggestion save your dough and have it done all at once. beter to be in the shop for 6 month then manytimes over a long period of time.

Ron, why are you so reluctant to put miles on your current S4? These things make great daily drivers and they seem to run better the more you drive them. If I were you, I would sell the truck and buy a mechanically good car with high miles – have Greg at Precision check it out before you put your money down. In my experience, there is nothing that takes the fun out of any project more than being rushed to complete it. Take you time and be creative. Meanwhile enjoy your nice black/black S4 every day.

Chazz, I had a lot of issues with my car when I got it. Left me stranded several times and cost me big $$ the first two years. I honestly don't have enough confidence in it right now to drive it daily on the freeways. I bought it to be a toy and that is what it is. Greg has done everything on my car and it will be going in soon for TB & WP, motormounts. After that is complete I might be more willing to drive it more.

Perry,
Your car gave you stress because you do not drive it enough.. I have 280,000 and counting... Miles, not Kms....... It sat for a while, and it needed a bit of getting in shape oce I decided to drive it again... OnceI got it up to snuff mechanically, it has been flawless. I've only gotten stuck twice, once it was a fuel pump, and the second time, I broke a camshaft... Both those could have happened on any car..... These cars are very reliable if they are in good mechanical shape, and have been kept up.
I would buy a daily driver that has been well maintained over a garage queen that was sitting for several if priced equally. Why...? The miles do not really matter on the cars, and one that has sat will need tons of little things to get it up to snuff.. Little plastic hoses etc can make you have lots of migraines..
On the unique car, just get a separate car and go to it.. Keep your pristine for driving around, that way, when the second car is done, you can have 2 different cars to choose from..
