Hmmm... 40% savings in Manteca over Santa Clara - that could make worth a trip out there...

But I've already ordered custom mixed dye from Leatherique (had to send back the initial dye they sent, as it did not match at all). We'll see...

It is a really good deal compared with new seat covers + installation!! The same shop quoted me $1100 installed for new Gahh seat covers, but that was a while ago..probably more now.

Your seats aren't that bad....the leatherique should make a big difference!

I would not touch my seats, if it wasn't for the side bolster. The rest is in amazing condition. But once you start replacing of redyeing one part, you might as well do the whole thing. Because the leather darkens over time, and you just can't seem to match it 100%. Like you, I'm a perfectionist, so it has to be done right...

I was going to just fix the drivers seat, but the shop owner convinced me (extra $100) to also redye the passenger seat...since a perfect drivers seat would make the passengers look worse than it really is! It was worth it. The bummer on the light tan or light grey leather is they show wear much more than the darker colors....those subtle wear marks that look dirty or slight cracks just drove me nuts...

Are you going to use the crack filler to fix your seats? I've seen a couple seats that used it with mixed results....but you are a perfectionist (like me) and it will look good! I look forward to seeing your results when its done....I'm sure it will be nice! I just wonder how the crack filler would hold up over time in a high wear spot?
