You don't have to paint the whole bulb, just the "dome". You also can use the same technique for clear side markers (also available from Nicole). I did both the clear turn signal/park and side marker lenses on my GTS last winter. I used "High Temperature" silver to spray paint the top half of the bulbs. Installed the yellow bulb with silver painted dome in all four receptacles, and there is no appearance of yellow unless the bulbs are lit. They are probably a little brighter when lit if only the dome is painted.

The turn signal LED kit with resistors is now available here:

To install, you will have to remove your front fender liner, and find a metal surface that can help dissipate the heat of the resistor. It can't be mounted on the bumper cover.
