where is the 89. My friend owns a shop and he has been driving my 951 which has issues. So I am on a bicycle for now, but he said he will combine cars if I can find a donor. So if anyone knows of any more even with bad engines let me know thanks.

I am notgoing to breed the two together. I am looking for a new 928. Or combining my old one with a 928 with a bad motor. My 951 even though it has issues still has 413hp, I will leave that one alone for now.

This really sucks.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. As a suggestion, I would stop talking to her insurance company. Anything you say will be held against you. Make all contact through mail, and keep everything they send you. Also, keep track of her court case though the local DA. Since it's both DUI and leaving the scene, she could do some community service time unless it's plead down. You need to speak with the DAs office to see that this doesn't happen. Depending on your DA, they can run the gamut all the way from telling you to get lost, to acutally taking a statement, and letting you speak at the trial or sentencing hearing.
Don't settle for the insurance's first offer, it'll be insulting. Rent a car and let them know you've rented it by mail. Best of luck.

After the settlement, think about buying your 928 back, and parting it out; chances are you will make 2-3x the buyback amount in major parts alone.

Home in bed!?!?! What kind of backwards state do you live in?!?!?!
Remember, you can ONLY sue for damages, not her stupidity, but you CAN tack on some stupid Chit that the judge may go for. However, you can win your losses and make sure she is prosecuted to the FULL extent of the law. This is where the pay back REALLY makes it all worth while. Make sure you consult an attorney to find out all the little goodies that you can sue for from the time you woke up this morning to the day you are finished and sitting in a new 928.

Just proves -from her point of view-
that there is a God,
there is a Patron Saint for idiots, drunks, and fools,
and she has at least a re-enforced squad of Guardian Angels tap-dancing on her shoulder.
We can never say enough comforting words to your loss.
Nor enough words of admonishment about/to the drunken twit.
So sorry for your loss is never enough, but will have to suffice.
Another work of automotive art has bitten the dust...never to be actually replaced.

Man this sux! Don't they arrest people for DUI in your state? There is no way in hell she would have been left to go home if it happened here.
Looking at the pic, it's extremly simmilar to this S4. She must have been going pretty fast to cause that much damage.

Under NO circustances even think about giving back the rental car until your car is made right. Do not even let it pass through your mind. Unless they offer you a new Ruf. Ask me how I know this. Your leverage is that rental car. Get all the receipts you have for your car and those you have from the previous owner and start documenting the maintenance history, and why yours is more special than all the others out there for sale. Those other cars are someone's problem, and they are trying to rid themselves of that problem. Yours is a well maintained and valued keeper that now has been rendered less desireable.
And the POS tramp was intoxicated. What if you had been sitting in the car?
And one more thing: Try to etch this into your subconscious: the insurance company, even your insurance company, is NOT your friend or ally. Trust only yourself. I limp around now because I trusted my insurance company and had a clean record. They stuck it to me big time. They are nothing but garbage and vomit. This incident is going to hurt, but you can lessen the pain by not trusting anyone from the insurance company. They love your premiums but don't know your name when you need them, even when you are not at fault. Ask me how I know that also.
Hey, maybe Shmurzik's car is still for sale. A bargain at the price and a nice color. If I had some coins I would buy it and put it away before Heinrich gets it and hides it.

I find it really weird that she was at home. I don't know of any state that cuts slack these days for DUI, malke or female. How did you get her address? Police typically wouldn't give that info out. What's wrong with this story?
