I was dropping a friend off in Clearwater Beach yeaterday (Island Estates) and drove by this small apartment complex on the water. Outside sat a Yellow widebody 993 with GT2 tail. In the street in front there was a red 928S. In the garages there was a white 928 convertible and next to it up on a jack was a gray (extra wide) widebody 928 with dual exhaust coming out of the middle. Is that anybody here? Have any of you guys heard/seen these cars before?

Yes he is here. You say that the super wide body was grey? He must be in the process of doing some body or paint work. It was black. Did you see that one from the front maybe?

It might have been black. I saw the back of it in the garage.

He just installed our Hypercoil kits on that wide-body to stop rubbing the inner-fender wells on his tires.

All of the cars looked pretty bad ***. I would love to pick his brain about the yellow 993.

The yellow 911 is a 79SC with a 96 turbo body kit installed.

Carl, the rubbing was from a loose lower control arm eccentric adjuster.

Got it. I didint stop to look at it, but it looked like a real 993 from my car. Real nice clean conversion.

My ears were ringing so I had to stop in to see if my name was being used in vain again! yep the superwidebody fits only in one of the garage bays...barely.

Luis, feel free to stop by anytime, especially if you see all 3 bays open. You can find me under one of them most of the time.
