Default HELP please.......on 928 h5 lamp conversion

Got some used H5 headlamps with PIAA 9006 bulbs. Here is the confusing part, the old pigtail has 3 wires: white, yellow and brown.

The new lamps have all 3 wires black on pigtail for headlaqmps.

They are BOSCH lamps with PIAA bulbs. Can someone give insight as what wire to connect the old ones to???????

Yes, have done a ton of searches but nothing comes up with what I need and I must drive the car tomorrow for work at 5 am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I remember correctly, looking at the H4 from the rear the left contact is ground which will connect to the brown wire on both sides. As far as the other colors you can turn your lights on low beam and see which ones light up the H4's on low beam. (I think they are the top terminal but I'm not sure) then the other one will be high beam. Sorry I didn't bring the manuals home with me...

Note the location of the clip on both plugs and arrange the wiring like this:

Am I confused or did you say H4's to start with?

If you think H5's are good, find a set of Euro H4's. They will have a considerably greater light output.

I do not know now. I am all confused. I'll take a pic of what I installed and you guys tell me what they are! I got em used on E-Bay for 275 plus shipping. They are in awsome shape.

All I know is they look and work great, they look soooooooooooooooo cool on the shark.

Yes - USA Spec 8" H5's. The little DOT aiming nipples (3 on each front face) give it away. H4's say "H4" in the center of the lens - also a give away.

Good deal - new these are about that same price each.

Enjoy them - they are good but H4's are even better...
