Default S4 exhaust manifolds on Ebay

I found these S4 exhaust manifolds on ebay, no bids @ $18.99 no reserve. This e-drop-off store is actually down the street from me, but I dont need them. They look to be in good shape and the winner also gets a porsche hat and shirt. Could be a good deal for someone.

Be aware they will not fit on 2 valve heads. The 85-86 32 valve exhaust manifolds will work with the 2 valve heads, but the S4 manifolds will not.

I thought you could just cut off a little tab at the end, and they would fit...

I don't think it's that simple. For me, I tested a set of S4 manifolds on a spare head, and the fore and aft mounts on the manifold did not line up well at all with the head studs. A set of 85 manifolds lined up perfectly.

Huh... My old mechanic told me they would fit, and suggested them as a cheaper upgrade for an OB than the MSDS headers. I guess it was lucky I decided to get the headers anyhow...
