Default Car hauler

I have not had much luck finding a car transport company, so I am asking the group now. Is there anyone available to transport a 928 from Columbus GA to Denver CO? The car is an almost running '84 manual, not in any shape to drive that distance. I do not own the car yet, partly because of the price of commercial auto transport.

If you are interested please send me a PM with price, I will be checking frequently.

Thanks,

Wow that is a big request 1,500 miles each way ! current IRS milage deduction is 48.5 cents per mile makes that a $1,455 round trip in a car let alone a truck hauling a car on a trailer. But it never hurts to ask. Now you know why some cars are just too far away for us to buy

Honest, I wasn't looking for a car in GA, I just stumbled on it. Actually I thought that it was in Nebraska when I found it, then the car got better and better, until I realized that the area code was 1000 more miles away.

I was hoping to find someone that was already on their way, then I would pay for gas (+) and we would both come out ahead. Call me a dreamer.

I used http://www.thecarcarrier.com/. It cost me 900-something from FL to CA (pretty long drive)

Good luck!

I didn't get an enclosed transport for that price, but the truck did have individual hydraulic platforms for the cars to minimize the need to move cars around. It took less than 2 weeks IIRC and I was very pleased with the end-result.

A lot of shipping costs have been increasing with fuel surcharges and such.

Try Express Auto Transport, Carrollton, GA - 770-830-0935
Thye moved my car from Alpharetta GA to San Diego back in September, door to door, on time $850. Took 5 days, high class transporter, shared it with $80k cars!
I was on the road already when they picked it up from a friend, good service.
Good luck
Neil
