One other thing with the speed mount I experienced was my oil pan leak got a little worse. I expected it would help with the leak since it's squeezing it tighter, but since the pan is not centered (front to back) on the cross member it must have increased the gap up front a little. It's not a huge amount and I was going to change the motor mounts and pan gasket in a few months anyway so I wasn't worried about it. Just something to consider.

Edit: This is just an assumption since the leak got to be heavier once the mount was put in.

Hmmm thanks again John, something else to consider cause I dont have a leak at the pan currently, & I certainly dont want to encourage one though!

The steel belts make it difficult to cut. The 18 wheeler mud flaps are a better choice.

My old mounts were flat and dead. Lots of vibration. Speed mount gave some improvement. Cost $50 and 30 minutes work. New Anchor mounts gave HUGE improvement. Cost $60 and 9 hours hard work. As sore and dirty as I was I'm glad with the new mounts. $600 installed sounds good if you've got the cash.
