Possibly, as 928 owners we are more articulate, enjoy rhetoric (the positive type that is), enjoy hearing ourselves speak and can type potentially better that the other listers?

m21 - again good call - I'll buy dinner for the blonde, the redhead, the brunette with highlights and the sandy blonde on the left. Although I do see a ring on the redhead - wouldn't want to offend. Hmm. Nice picture. Please no offense to any female readers - just complimenting the picture.

OK - so for clarification on rhetoric - "The art or study of using language effectively and persuasively"

So, why aren't they as active here as we are?
I question what you're looking at.

928 forum: 25,451 threads, 303,494 posts.

944 "main" board + 944 "technical" board: 58,600 threads, 655,074 posts

Throw in the 21,952 threads and 266,006 posts on the 951 board, and we're looking at 80,552 threads and 921,080 posts on the 944 boards. The main 944 board normally churns like a chat room. It's just seasonably slow right now. As soon as the yankees dig out from under their blanket of white stuff and start breaking their cars again, it'll pick up.

Plus there's been an inordinate share of e-drama on the turbo board over the last few months, that turned some people off for awhile.

Besides, as we steadily approach 1 million posts related to 944s, you'd think we'd have all our issues settled.

Because the wine and cheese crowd only needs a few posts. "Where do you put your students exams in your Boxster?" Seriously, as a percentage I would bet that the 944 and 928 have a higher DIY ratio, especially since we are driving the under appreciated (think price to value) members of the Porsche family.

Not that I think that I could currently afford to rehab a 911 so I don't look for them, but how many completely neglected 911s vs 928s or 911s vs 944s do you find?

Or maybe the 911 guys are smarter and know how to use the search function

Bed, yes.

Dude, you are focusing on the WRONG things entirely...

But since you bring it up........what is the red looking tank thingy under the rear bumper?
