High price.....
here in Switzerland, an S2 sells for around 5K to 7K US- This one is around 3 times the price. High premium to pay for low mileage. Friend of mine bought one about 6 months ago at the bottom end of the price range with circa 50K miles on the clock.
It still needed almost 50% of the purchase price spending (incl. garage labour costs) on it for things like, replacing brake pipes, pads, distributor, plugs and leads, MAF, pump for windscreen washers, 4 wheel alignement and a faltenbaelge (never did figure out what that was).
It does run very nicely now. He said he was cruising on the autobahn at 200km/h last weekend (125mph) and it felt like half the speed.
Also here in Switzerland, cars have to have an exhasut gas test every couple of years - would be interesting to see the record, normally it is kept in the car for police checks & is full of dealers stamps. The mileage is recorded at every test. It is the first thing we check. Of course it is not foolproof but it is always good to see one.
You can not check the registration number, the number belongs to the owner not the car. You can own 2 cars and swop the number between them so you do get a lot of low mileage "weekend" cars. This 928 looks like it has the fittings for the "switch plates".
You pay one insurance and one annual tax plus about 30 bucks a year for official registration that you have 2 cars. I have the 928 and a mustang convertible for the summer; 928 convertible would be ideal but I never saw one only pictures.

That would be really nice! An 86 S2 in almost new condition is the most rare of 928's. Hey Marton, if it were made originally for the swiss market wouldn't it have a slightly detuned engine because of the emissions. I thought i remember reading that in one of the manuals.
It is a nice color, too bad, it doesn't have more and bigger pictures.

JDSporsche can probably find a new chip for it that brings back the 310bhp
