The AFM to MAF can be done. I've done two conversions. You need an A to D converter with gain to get to the 8 volts of the L-Jet system. Virtually all MAF units are 0-5 volt.
The Split Second PSC1-009 was developed just for this use. In fact, some of the things I found while doing the 928 conversion have been added into the box, namely the gain values on the amplification...actually it is a voltage offset.

The two newest perfectpower piggybacks have map conversion buit in. You run it for a few days as a datalogger, and it fills out the map table for you. Then you just have to tweak it a bit at your local dyno/empty road to finish it out. Good cheap tool for the purpose.
