Default Brake dustshields...

Gentlemen.

Are those shields really that necessary? Looking at my other two cars, they do not have antything like that at all.
Pros and cons? Anyone?

When I went to the TT brakes I left the shields off & have had no problems. That was 6-7 years ago.

when I went to the big reds, I was told to use the gts shields to keep rocks from causing issues and to help w/cooling... so I did... on the rears it's not so critical, iirc....
