The interior of my 1983 928 is shot with the exception of the rear seats and console. I'd like to get a whole new interior from a donor car and I want to know what color interiors came in cars painted Ruby Red Metalic. The original interior has beige carpeting, seats, and rear console, while the dash, pod, center console, headliner and sun visors are all brown.
Is there a website that has information on exterior paint colors and corrsponding interior colors?

It's Porsche, you can get whatever you want. Most red cars I've seen with brown, tan, or black. I've seen a few white/gray and a few red/burgundy.

Rixter had a gorgeous can-can red interior. I don't know if he still has it.

 

in 1983 the following materials were available from the factory: LEather (I believe that was standard for US models), velours "Pasha", cloth "Berber", cloth of uniform color.

The colors that would go with ruby red are black, burgundy or grey-beige
