Default Which route - Headers or Crossover??

I've searched for and read many of the posts regarding headers and/or exhaust crossovers. But I still have a question that begs to be answered (for me at least)...Which is a better initial bang for the buck - Headers or crossover? Or both?
On other vehicles I have always gone for headers first, but the astounding gains produced by the crossover have caused me to reconsider. My car is a daily driver, but will see a SC in the near future. Please keep in mind that all exhaust components will be replaced at this time as well, with no cats. More power = more fun!

If I missed a post that addressed this, I apologize.
I simply need some guidance before making the investment.

Thanks!

Since the X pipes are a simple easy bolt on and you can use your existing exhaust with RMB that should give you adequate flow and sound there is no need to put up with the expense and hassles of running headers on a street car. Fact is the tubular stainless exhaust manifolds nearly are short headers.

Since your 32V already has a fairly descent factory header on it, I would suggest the X-over. You can keep the X-over even if you get a SC!

I vote x-over for the same reasons as above. Cheaper, easier to install, and proven HP gains! Sounds real nice with the stock early '86 exhaust as well!
