I thought it sounded high but I wouldn't know. $1k doesn't go as far as it used to

Even if this bracket is a little on the weak side, I'm sure it can easily be reinfoced or altered to become stronger.

The starting price is a bit pricy to me.

Lets see:

Start with $1500 ebay BIN for a bracket and crank pulley setup.

Add a new Vortech V2.
Add a Vortech blowoff valve.
Get a pulley for SC.
Have custom made spacers for the accessories.
Have a custom made air intake to mate to the Vortech.
Make a custom bracket to hold the MAF in place under boost.
Make properly bent and (welded for a blowoff valve) pipe from SC to MAF elbow.
Find 90 degree elbow to MAF from above pipe.
Design and build a non-slipping tensioner system.
Buy new cooling fans.
Build brackets for fans.
Figure out oil supply, volume, and lines for feed and drain of SC oil.
Modify dipstick tube or oil pan to drain SC oil.
Source all hoses, clamps, hardware, etc.
Stellar support before, during and after install (priceless)
.
Or, call Tim Murphy for a stage 1 kit at about $5000. Add more parts and $ for a stage 2.

If I add up my time, labor, and wife approval level for my time in the garage I'll just call Tim (again).

The seller appears to have updated the auction to clarify things.

$990 sounds like a decent price for the parts. And, instead of having one big bill to explain to the wife, one can just order bits and pieces here and there and stay under the radar.

You are right, it's easier to just order a new kit. Then again, if you don't mind frabricating things, this would be a good way to start. The BIN is way to high to worth the effort. However alot of the items on you list are more time consuming than anything else.

The bottom line is tha this auction is for the DIY builder.

Those are not Supershark parts......the bracket looks substandard as compared to Tim's....and it is my opinion that it is substantially so....For a DIY with fabricating skills, the pulleys are a pain in the tail. but the bracket should be easier.....Still, having seen 3 different brackets up close.....the two others paled in comparrison to Tim's design......
