Again...Gremlins -8 Derek -2

I have an '83 US AUto and I recently had the driver's window fail?!? The pax window worked fine and I had a problem with the power locks (still there) so I disconnected the fuse as I awaited a new motor from 928 SPec. So far, so good. Get new motor and install. Now drivers window only goes up (down, if you reverse wires) and pax window doesn;t work at all So, I tested old motor (it owrked)!!! Now, what do I do? I replaced relay and I have new switches....is there anywhere else I can look...or is that can of kerosene in the garage really calling my name?
