PIX ADDED! Utah- Intermountain 928OC 1st Anniv. meet 2/25/06
Weather permitting, all Intermountain 928 owners are invited for a meet, scenic drive, lunch and car show on Feb. 25, 2006.
Details:
10:00 meet @ Sugarhouse park in SLC- meet/greet/photos
around 11:00 depart for drive-
- I-80 East up Parley's Cyn to US 40 to Heber City. US 189 down Provo Cyn to I-15, then back to Sandy, UT for lunch
around 1:00 we'll have lunch at a tbd location. Iggy's perhaps?
after lunch, around 2:30- Autorama at the Southtown Expo Center http://www.autorama.com/casi/saltlake.htm
Please plan to pay your own way for lunch and the Autorama. Note that the Expo Center only accepts cash/checks.
If the weather doesn't look like it will cooperate, we'll have an alternative plan based on weather severity. Best case scenario is a valley drive (maybe around Utah Lake?), worst case scenario is we drive SUVs to lunch and then to the car show.
Anyone w/ a Porsche is invited. If your car is n/a, bring what you have and enjoy the comraderie.
Keep looking here for updates. For those whose email addresses I don't have, please send me a PM and I'll add you to the club's roster.
Thanks and I hope to see a big turn out!

Reminder Bump
A reminder, the Intermountain 928 OC meet is still on, unless mother nature dumps the white stuff on us. Here's the current scoop:
I've heard from a number of folks with an affirmative response, including a 944 guy. We may also have someone from the Intermountain PCA talk to us about track days @ Miller Motorsports Park. In total, we currently have just under 10 cars.
If the weather's good, we'll keep the mountain-drive plan. If it's snowing in the mountains but not in the valley, we'll do a Utah Lake Drive and we'll have our initial meet somewhere other than Sugarhouse Park. I'll communicate the changed plans later should weather necessitate it. I'll be driving the 928 in rain or shine, but not snow, so if it's snowing everywhere, we can meet w/out the p-cars for lunch and see the Autorama afterward.
Call or PM me w/ questions or comments. Cheers.

You'll be toast then! As Andy would say, "Drive it like you stole it!"
The real question is, what will you be driving if it doesn't snow?

I would love to be there but can't. This year's excuse is that I am leaving for Bozeman on Saturday morning with Lisa and the kids. Instead of a tour in my sweet 928, I will be in the Landcruiser with the kids watching DVD's. Before anyone asks, no you can't drive my car!!
