Default genuine cup2 for sale

these were off a 968 club sport. 7.5 inches wide with 60mm offset on the front and 9 inches wide with 55 mm offset on thr rear. i bought them to give to my dad for his 86 928, but he doesnt want them (prefers the original wheels). they haad a few small scratches when i got them so i sent them to a wheel repair place. who charged $250 Australian to repaint each wheel. so they are like new. never been on a car since repaint. and they come with brand new center caps i want $1700 US or $2500 Au for them. ONO.

I think they are Cup I genuine wheels. The Cup II wheels debuted on the 1991 C2 Turbo. Those look like the 993 style or GTS style. I may be wrong, but the flat bladed spokes should be more rounded.

Nice wheels, however.

Cool present for your dad. Unless your dad has 928 Club Sports or Cup 1s, I don't see any reason why he wouldn't want these beautiful wheels.

Garrity,
C2 = Cup 1 = early GTS
Cup 2 = late GTS = these

Part number? that will be the definitive answer to the question. From your picture they look like cup II to me, and they are in beautiful condition, also the price seems very reasonable to me. Brand new I paid $3,600 for mine....a LOOOOOOONG time ago.

you should see the retail price for these. the 968 clubsports cup 2 wheels are pretty rare. because of the 7.5 inch rim on the front. of course you could always get replicas. but they never look as good as the real thing.
