Default Looks like the new Lamborghini Miura has new headlights for us

Since Porsche "borrowed" the headlights from the original Miura, I would like to see these mounted on a 928:

does anyone know what those side air intakes are for, and if the rear louvers are actually functional for air escape?

I would think, from viewing the pics, that the louvres are non-functional but a 'style', the side vents are quite probably for brake cooling.

To me it looks like a modified 72 Corvette..........maybe a vette with a body kit. Is GM involved in Lambo land like Ford is in with Jag ???? I don't like it, but that is just my opinion........

I wonder what a guy would have to pay for a set to try in a custom 928? I was just reading a piece about Jay Leno referring to the 1500.00 wiper blade the service center tried to replace on his McClaren. Absolutely nuts!!

Chrysler owned them at one point, but now Lambo is Volkswagen. Since Volkswagen is partially owned by Porsche, I guess we could say Porsche (partially) owns Lamborghini.

The wheels are too big and the car looks too cartoonish. I think making new cars out of old car styles is stupid, especially like the GTO and the Charger, the look nothing alike.

Thats why they call it 'revamping' a design

The stance on the Lambo is kind of similar to the new Ford GT, I think...

That may be due to the brakes taking up the entire inside of the wheel. The next Miura is giong to take on the Enzo and CGT as the ultimate Lamborghini.

If Audi really wants to blow everyone away, they should drop in the new V12 Diesel engine from the R10. 800ft lbs of torque in a street car would be interesting.

Thanks exactly what came to my mind when I saw the side view. Revamped, the same or not, I like it. Most remakes end up looking pretty good. The trend of coming out with cars redone from 30-40 years ago is successful the same as why so many radio stations still play music from the 60s-80s. They realize if it was in demand once prior, those of us way back when that liked it, might want it now & might have the $$ to pay for it.

Just look to VW and the big time money they've made off of coming out with the new & improved Beetle. Word I heard was, when they did the prototype & unveiled it for the 1st time at an auto show, they truly had no intentions of mass production, thought no one would want to go back to such an old style car. It got rave reviews right from the start. Took lots of people & dealers asking them to put it into production to finally convince them. Bet they're glad they listened to the guy originally telling them to make the prototype!
