Besides the better lift and duration, another nice thing about those '79 cams is you can adjust the valve timing with Mercedes woodruff keys.

Very nice Porken. I was unaware of these little buggers. I actually made my own keys for these camshafts from the next larger US size. They fit like a glove.

Did you set the cams straight up or did you retard them?
