Be a man about sound deadening... just look at Constantine, he drove all the way from Fl to NC for a SITM in his racecar, and w/o AC. Now that gets a double

Tarek, I'll bring some floor foam with me when I come for Sebring.
I have no problem with the sound... I drove NY to FL in the stripped down 911 with no heat (and many air gaps) in 15 degree weather in NY, arriving 24 hours later to 95 degree temperature in FL with no AC.

My lady friends, however, keep citing it as a reason why they ran away. I want to eliminate that excuse. Wonder what they'll come up with next. Hair on my head?

A friend of mine builds competition car audio systems. He pulled every piece of his interior and covered every surface with Dynomat (ceiling, floor, doors etc..) I could not believe the difference it made. His 2000 GTI is one of the quietest cars I have ever driven. Even with his competition stereo cranked up, you can barely hear it from outside the car. Dynomat is great stuff.

My latest 86 951 was Ziebart'ed at one point in its life. Although it added some serious weight, it too is one of the quietest cars I've ever owned. Downside is that it gets stickey when hot. But I assume that car won't rust anytime this century.
