Default 928 Chromed Sewerlids/Manhole Covers/7 slot wheels from another forum!! $200

Get them while they are hot!!

http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2364201

Looks like the set needs some repair but include centers and 5 unmatched tires for 400. Pick up in Baltimore.

I'd be all over this but I do not need them

Good luck!! Let me know what happens.

There is really no way to repair flaking chrome short of chemically stripping all the chrome and starting over IF BIG IF the wheel guy is willing to try to strip ,polish and replate since it seldom works out well. And typically cost about $700 a set. These would probably be O K winter wheels or track beater wheels...

That makes me wish I'd taken Mark A up on his $25 16x8 wheel offer.
