Parting (with) the '81
Ladies and gentlemen:
If you haven't read my other post regarding donating my car to a charity, here is the nuts and bolts of it. I am working through one of those charity auction type places to take my car off my hands. I am willing to strip parts on request, and have done so to the major assemblies already.
I have available:
4.5L Engine
L-jet Computer and Harness
5 Speed transmission
CV axles
Passenger seat (black leather)
Hood (black)
Black interior pieces
AC control head
Center console
Parts left to strip:
Fuse panel
Driver seat
Steering wheel
Steering rack
Front Suspension
Rear suspension
Door glass
Sunroof motor
Sunroof panel
Passenger window motor
Hatch
Rear light assemblies
Front driving light assemblies
Headlight buckets
Headlight motor
Wiper motor
Chromed S Wheels
Front brake calipers
Rear brake calipers
All parking brake parts
...am I forgetting anything?
I can delay pickup of the hulk as it stands until a week from tonight (9 January 2005). After that, it goes to auction.
Price for parts is best reasonable offer plus shipping. If you need a particular item for an early 928, odds are good that I have it. Please PM me with requests, or respond to this thread. I will let you know if I have it in good repair.

Good think I checked the forum before going to bed!
Here is my list of parts.
Weather stripping on the front doors
Tail light lenses (if in good cond.)
Gas tank straps/fuel pump bracket
Rear spoiler (all 3 pieces)
Gas tank filler neck rubber gromet
passanger side door lock cylinder ( only if Heinrich doesn't want it)
Wheel lug nuts (as many as possible)
passanger and driver side mirror (glass only)

I was wondering when you'd chime in.
The gas cap is spoken for, the locks are in pretty poor repair (but could come out), the front grille is gone, and the windshield is cracked. What'll you offer for the bezels?

It's late as hell, I'm calling it a night. I'll check back in the morning and see what's going on.
