Replacing the rain gutters
I am replacing the bent rain gutters on my GTS. When I pulled the driverside one of I found that there was dried glue holding them on. Did Porsche use glue?
I was expecting the same metal clamps I have found on the windshield side molding.

Well on mine, the gutters were loose where they meet the front fender. Just did not seem right.

Maybe someone has been there before ? I agree its not right, when they come loose the front fender end springs out, can end up removing paint from the fender .. ask me how I know.

I replaced the rain gutter on my '62 house today. One of them had come loose from the down pipe, and I just sort of banged it back into place, since I didn't have much time. Tomorrow I plan to drill a hole in both sections and install a pop-rivet.
Oh wait a minute....I think you people might have been talking about Porsches! Rain gutters? I don't remember my 928 having any, but then again you might be talking about the upper body seam or something.
