This is Mark Anderson's pickup conversion. It's very nicely done, and would be a good addition to a collection of unusual 928s.

The pictures in the auction show the spare wheel area exposed, but I thought there was some kind of "floor" in the bed of the truck when I saw it at the last Sharktoberfest. Do I have Alzheimers, or am I just getting old?

Either way, this is the ideal 928 for the trip to IKEA...

Maybe this is the time for the pictures in the registry to be updated? Also, I remember the car had some personal license plate when I first saw it a while back. Maybe Mark can tell the story of it.

Didn't mark just sell it at the last Sharktoberfest? New owner didn't keep it long?

What car does the back window come from? Or is it custom?

The car had a for sale sign at Sharktoberfest but it was not sold.
The rear window was custom made and is tempered.
There is a removable floor and a rubber mat that goes on top of it.
The personal plate of "FREFNLY" was retained by the original owner. She got her husbands 928 in the divorce settlement and put that plate on.

You guys need to fix those wheels, they look wrong on it. You guys should put wider wheels 19x9 or 19x10s with some of them newer suv sport tires. Kinda give it a pick up look with an attitude.

Is there any way to make a tail gate for it?

Damn it - why didn't you say something when I was there? I could have driven it home!

"Honey, it followed me home from California, can we keep it?"

No major work needed. About the only thing that comes to mind is motor mounts.

Actually is has 18x8 front and 18x10 rear at the moment like the pictures on the registry site.

Not completely in the bed but if you don't mind a bit hanging over the back.
