Default Risky Business 928

I work for a company that does a ton of online sweeps and promotions. I'm looking for a nice prize for one of our latest promotions and I thought it might be cool to give away a famous movie car. I'm open to all ideas, but of course our own RB 928 would be the best. I heard Courtney Love owns it. Can anyone confirm?

As far as I know, there was more than one 928 in the movie. The one that went off the pier had no engine. Naturally the one used for the rest of the driving shots did.

Sorry but I have no ide where they are or even if they still exist. Alot of the movie stunt/prop cars end up as scrap. It's mainly due to liability issues, especcialy if the vehicle was altered or modified to capture certains shots.

"I Come In Peace" - isn't that the movie with the great line: "I've come to chew bubblegum and kick ***, and I'm all out of gum"? Holy crap, that was funny...

Yup Also if I remeber right, it has a bunch of cheeesy one liners. The " You go in pieces" is right at the end. I actually saw this master piece in the theatre when it came out, back in '90 or '91.

The worts moive I EVER saw is called Killer Condom. No it's not a ****! lol It's a German movie, filmed in Central Park,NYC with English subtitles...... it's soooo bad that it's actually good, much like all the (pre-Lord of the Rings) Peter Jackson films.

PAAAUUUuuuuuuuuKE!!!!! Ewww gross. One would totally have to disinfect the thing...that bitch is a walking bag of puss.

HA! Too bad the only time they used the original sound of the 928 was when he stalled it pulling out of the garage, doing donuts in the parking lot and when he meekly drove it home from the dealer after he found out that this kind of shark doesn't swim.

Interesting thing is that the movie was done in 1982 and the car appears to be a 78-79 looking at the interior.

I would kiss this thing off as I don't think it exists anymore.

In the movie "The Hidden" the good alien drives a 928 while the bad alien has a thing for Ferrari's. Pretty good movie for the time.

hello All...

The only other movie shark that's comes to mind is the silver 928 in Scarface. The car was in only 2 scenes (one at the dealer and outside the night club after the shooting Frank's assassins).

Not to change this into a 928 movie thread, but there was a movie called Dangerous Curves which featured a red 928s4. It was an 80's bikini movie where the winner of a beauty pageant won a brand new shark. I saw the very end of the movie a few years ago. I mentioned it to my wife the next day. Without telling me, she found out the name of the move and got me a copy for Christmas along with Project 928 (took her a couple of years to win the book on Ebay).

regards,
Roger
